The KU Leuven Methodology of Educational Sciences Research Group organizes a multi-disciplinary workshop designed to provide faculty, PhD, doctoral students, and other researchers in the area of Educational and Behavioral Sciences, Social Welfare and Healthcare sciences with the fundamental background and skills required to conduct a systematic review of research regarding treatments, interventions, therapies, or experiences.

Pain is the most common reason for patients to see their general practitioner. A substantial proportion of adults (1 in 5) in Europe suffer from chronic pain that seriously affects the quality of their social and working lives and its inadequate management constitutes a major healthcare problem. On a national level 23% of Belgians suffered from chronic pain in a large European survey. The bio psychosocial model of chronic pain recognizes chronic pain as a combination of physical dysfunction, beliefs, coping strategies, distress, illness behavior and social interactions.
Mini Residency 2017
The goal of this "Mini Residency 2017" is to educate foreign (non-EEA) students in the philosophy and principles of orthodontic diagnosis and treatment in Belgium. There are 20 modules on different theoretical topics (1,5-2h) and practical instructions (4h):
